Determined to uphold and enhance this legacy, Mr. Khaled devoted years to studying the finest bloodlines, traveling across Europe and the Middle East to learn from leading breeders and equine experts.

 

His breakthrough came when he acquired rare, carefully selected Arabian mares and stallions that traced their lineage back to some of the most respected studs in the region. Combining this heritage with his passion for quality and care, Mr. Barakat established Al Barakat Stud, named for the Arabic word “barakat,” meaning blessings — as a place where tradition meets excellence. The name reflects not only his hope for what these horses would become, but also the deep reverence he holds for their history and their gift to the world.
